Paradise Road to partner with Assist Sheffield

Tales Retold is delighted to announce that the premiere of Paradise Road on 20th and 21st April 2018 at Sheffield Library Theatre will be in partnership with Assist, the charity challenging asylum destitution in Sheffield. Paradise Road Casting Requirements Announced

The roles available for Paradise Road’s premier at Sheffield Library Theatre in April 2018 are announced today as follows:-

RICHARD: Male, Caucasian British, 36, medium build

SABELLE: Female, Armenian Iraqi*, 27, slim build.

VARTAN: Male, Armenian Iraqi*, 37, any build.

*For Sabelle and Vartan the ability to do a Middle Eastern accent is essential. A Middle Eastern/Mediterranean look is also required (olive or light brown skin, dark hair, dark eyes) however other suitable looks will be considered.

These are paid roles at Equity Fringe rates for rehearsals and performances (estimated wage for entire run approx. £500, based on 10 days rehearsal and two performances).

Rehearsal Dates (in Sheffield): Between 3rd and 20th April

Performance Dates (Sheffield Library Theatre): 20th and 21st April
